This is the collection that began it all- NOVAE RES was/is the beta test for LLABB ALM- on Demand , no waste sustainable design and manufacturing.
Lane’s goal was to create something that avoided all of the pitfalls of the industry, that other brands encountered and sometimes put them under.
The Challenge: was it possible to create a luxury collection that was made on demand, with no waste and no overstock, at the speed of Amazon with the quality of Hermes.
Each bag is hand crafted in New York by uptrained craftpeople. Nothing is made until it was purchase by a consumer, and utilizing a proprietary supply chain and operational system , would be able to be cut, made, Q’cd and shipped DTC in 24-48 hours.
The outcome of that quest lead to some of the most beautiful bags of her vast portfolio- Artisan solid brass hardware, veg tanned leather, and true vegan leathers, in lovely earthtones, and each individually numbered on brass plates inside each bag.
NOVAE RES was 2019’s Accessories Council finalist for its Sustainability award.
